E-mail Setup - Microsoft Outlook 2002 / XP
- Open Outlook.
- From the Tools menu, select E-mail Accounts.
- Select Add a new e-mail account and click Next.
- Select POP3 as your server type and click Next.
- In the Your name text box, type your full name.
- In the E-mail address text box, type your e-mail
address.
For example: emailname@wnbnet.com
- In the Incoming mail (POP3) text box, type
mail.wnb.net.
- In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) text box, type
mail.wnb.net.
- In the User name text box, your EMAILNAME has been
inserted.
- In the Password text box, type your password.
Note: This feature is optional. Leave this field blank,
if you want Outlook to prompt you for your password each time you
access your e-mail.
Warning! Do not check the circle
next to Log on using Secure Password Authentication.
- Click on the More Settings... button.
- In the Mail Account text box type WNBNET.
- In the Organization text box, type in your
organization, or you can leave this field blank.
- In the Reply E-mail text box, type your e-mail address.
For example: emailname@wnbnet.com
- Select the Connection tab.
- Under Connection, check the circle next to Connect
using my phone line.
- Select the Advanced tab.
- In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) text box, type 25.
- In the Incoming mail (POP3) text box, type 110.
- Click OK.
- Click Finish to exit.
