E-mail Setup - Microsoft Outlook 98 / 2000

  1. Open Outlook.
  1. From the Tools menu, select Services.

    Note: If you do not see Services listed, select Accounts.
  1. Click once on Internet E-mail to highlight it.
  2. Click on the Properties button.
    Note: If Internet E-mail is not listed:
    1) Click on the Add button.

    2) Click once on Internet E-mail to highlight it.
    3) Click OK.
  1. In the Mail Account text box, type WNBNET.
  2. In the Name text box, type your name.
  3. In the Organization text box, type in your organization or you can leave this field blank.
  4. In the E-mail address text box, type your e-mail address.
    For example: emailname@wnbnet.com
  5. In the Reply address text box, type your e-mail address.
    For example: emailname@wnbnet.com
  6. Select the Servers tab.
  1. In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) text box, type mail.wnbnet.com.
  2. In the Incoming mail (POP3) text box, type mail.wnbnet.com.

Warning!
Do not check the circle next to Log on using Secure Password Authentication.
  1. In the Account name text box, type your EMAILNAME.
  2. In the Password text box, type your password.
    Note: This feature is optional. Leave this field blank, if you want Outlook to prompt you for your password each time you access your e-mail.
  3. Select the Connection tab.
  1. Under "Connection," check the circle next to Connect using my phone line.
  2. Select the Advanced tab.
  1. In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) text box, type 25.
  2. In the Incoming mail (POP 3) text box, type 110.
  3. Click OK to exit.
